D – This year the Nuremberg trade show for inventors, iENA – the International Trade Fair “Ideas – Inventions – New Products”– is celebrating its 70th anniversary. The first inventor and innovation exhibition was staged in Nuremberg in 1948, since then the iENA has become the meeting place for the international world of inventors. From the first catalyst, to the first button telephone and the Tipp-Ex correction pen, through to trolleys and the insulating survival blanket, many inventions have been launched at the iENA. Numerous scientific developments in the fields of medicine and industry were also presented to the public in Nuremberg for the first time.
In commemoration of its 70th anniversary, the iENA is presenting itself in a new guise on November 3 and 4, 2018: The approx. 800 inventions from all over the globe will be exhibited in the new exhibition hall of the Nuremberg Exhibition Centre, namely in Hall 3C. A first-class programme and contacts to important partners, investors and companies as well as information for inventors round off the portfolio. Furthermore, the jubilee edition, the partner country of which is Iran this year, is to be flanked by the Start-Messe Nürnberg – the trade fair for business formation, succession and franchising – and for the first time by the computer technology festival “Hack & Make”.
On the eve of the iENA 2018, on November 2, the iENA Innovation Congress is being staged. The specialised event that is being held under the motto “Successful through innovation – how innovations can be managed” will inform the participants about the theme innovation management.
