It can no longer be missing from the marketing mix of successful companies: In the meantime, haptic advertising is one of the frontrunners among the forms of advertising. Because unlike adverts in newspapers, radio spots or mailings for instance, it really does get close to the recipient and thus provides tangible advantages in an era that is becoming more digital all the time. At the HAPTICA® live ’18 on March 21, 2018 at the World Conference Center Bonn (WCCB) for one whole day everything revolves around this efficient marketing discipline. Professionals from marketing, sales and purchasing departments, advertising agencies and the promotional products trade can immerse themselves in the “Experience of Haptic Advertising” and thus learn how give-aways and event items, mailing boosters and onpacks, premiums and merchandise items help impress target groups and bind them long-term.

On selecting the more than 180 exhibitors – including niche players, generalists, start-ups and brand name companies like Steiff, Niederegger, Ravensburger, Samsonite, Stabilo, JBL, Villeroy & Boch or Victorinox – the organiser, WA Media, has made sure there is a balanced mixture that will enable the visitors to find the right idea for every field of implementation and every budget – from power banks, beach items, colouring books and tools, to suitcases, textiles and sports items, through to sweets, earplugs, ties and ballpoint pens.

From 10 a.m. onwards the marketing professionals of renowned companies, i.e. Deutsche Bank and the Zurich insurance companies will share their experiences on stage when they report about the implementation and impact of haptic advertising within their organisations (in German). Furthermore, the three special shows that provide concrete case studies will offer inspiration for the creative usage of promotional products: Whereas the Best Practice exhibition presents successful cases from all over the globe, a special event in the foyer documents what “Sustainability in haptic advertising” can look like. Distinguished items are also represented at the HAPTICA® live ’18, because the 42 products and campaigns that won a Promotional Gift Award this year, will be showcased in an exhibition area next to the stage. The award ceremony of the winners of the famous design and communications prize will be held at 4 p.m. followed by a champagne reception.
