On December 11 and 12, 2017, the expert jury examined the 229 entries of the Promotional Gift Award 2018. The result has now been announced: 42 products and campaigns claimed the coveted industry prize. The winners can be found here.
Once again the competition demonstrated how creatively corporate messages can be conveyed using haptic advertising – whether memos with electrostatic staying power instead of using adhesive, whether letting customer relations grow using a fruit tree or whether foldable reusable to-go mugs addressing the target group in a sustainable manner.
To select the winners of the Promotional Gift Award 2018, Karin Froeter (Volkswagen Zubehör), Michael Mätzener (diewerbeartikel gmbh), Michael Scherer (WA Media), Michael Witzorrek (merchandise.blog) and Martin Zettl (marke|ding|) thoroughly put the entries to the competition through their paces. They felt, smelt, tasted, listened to and tinkered with the submitted items. The winners from the seven categories, Give-aways, Communicative Products, Custom-made Designs, Best Practice, Merchandising, Premium Products and Customising Technologies were determined by a point-awarding system. This year a high number of custom-made designs were able to convince the jury members. Furthermore, a special prize was awarded to the promotional products collection of Dicke & Partner that was developed for the insurance company, Continentale Versicherung.
The award ceremony of the Promotional Gift Award 2018 will be staged on March 21, 2018 at the HAPTICA® live ‘18 at the World Conference Center Bonn. All of the award-winning products will be show-cased there in the scope of an own exhibition.
