D – According to own accounts, Spreadshirt increased its turnover last year by around 9% up to 93 mil. Euros in total. By all accounts, the D-A-CH market was a significant growth driver in 2016, where the E-Commerce platform was able to achieve a 30% rise in turnover. Together Germany, Austria and Switzerland represent Spreadshirt’s largest market, followed directly by the USA. “In 2016, our clear focus was on the mobile optimisation and the elimination of old technical burdens, in order to be able to further develop the platform. We realigned our organisation structure into the three business areas Personalisation, Marketplaces and Merchandising. The figures of the past fiscal year confirm that this was the right course to take,” summed up Spreadshirt CEO, Philip Rooke. “In 2017 we will crack the turnover mark of 100 mil. Euros by pushing our business on the US market and expanding the Merchandising and Marketplaces business areas.”
Spreadshirt is, according to own accounts, the market leader in Europe and has achieved continual international growth since its foundation. Last year the E-Commerce platform for on-demand printing, which is celebrating its 15th anniversary this year, processed around 2 mil. orders in over 150 countries.
