CZ – The 24th edition of the Reklama Polygraf was staged from April 24-26, 2017 in Halls 3, 4 and 6 of the PVA Expo Praha Exhibition Centre in the Czech capital. The Obaly – a trade fair for innovative packaging and packaging technology – was held parallel for the first time; the Event Day took place at the PVA Expo Praha for the fifth time already. Unlike in the past it was scheduled in mid-May, the show took place three weeks earlier – the exhibitors complained that not every potential visitor was aware of the new venue date.
According to the official figures, in total 294 exhibitors participated, 59 of whom came from eleven countries outside of the Czech Republic. It was attended by 8,867 visitors, 1,874 of whom came from abroad (2016: 212 exhibitors, 12,341 visitors). The exhibitors of haptic advertising were primarily concentrated in Hall 3, give-aways and textiles dominated the exhibits. However, several Czech specialists also presented their offer, including innovative items such as customised glass coasters made of marble.
The aisles of the trade fair that is organised by the Prague-based exhibition organiser, ABF, were particularly full on the second day – especially in the morning. The exhibitors had plenty to do and the majority of them were satisfied with the quality and quantity of the discussions.
A detailed report will follow in the next edition of eppi magazine, No. 117 (June 7, 2017).
