D – The promotional products industry is mourning Hans Michael Höhner, who passed away on April 9, 2017 totally unexpectedly. As CEO and owner of Klio-Eterna Schreibgeräte, the 57-year-old steered the fate of the company from the Black Forest for many years. Höhner was born in Zell am Harmersbach on December 2, 1959 and took over his father’s company in 1987. An obituary released by Klio-Eterna stated that “he was well-known for his quiet and humorous nature, for his open ear when it came down to the interests of his employees.” “In spite of his strenuous and stressful everyday routine as the CEO, he always found time for a friendly chat or a joke with his employees. His death means we have not only lost a boss, but above all a friend.”
Edeltraud Syllwasschy will continue to manage Klio-Eterna following Höhner’s philosophy.
