A – The marke|ding| Vienna was held for the seventh time already on April 6, 2017 at the Hofburg Palace in Vienna. Austria’s largest promotional products trade fair targets marketing decision-makers and industry buyers. Six Austrian sponsoring agencies – Forum Werbemittel, KW open, Mitraco, Nowak Werbeartikel, Pro Concept and Schäfer Shop – who invite their customers to the show, support the concept. According to the official figures, 126 exhibitors from ten nations presented their portfolio of products and services in the historical and picturesque ambiance of the former imperial residence, including famous brand companies, interesting specialists as well as diverse first-time exhibitors. Several exhibitors from related marketing disciplines were also present again this year, particularly from the visual communications area. Overall, the visitors were offered a successful and diversified product mix, which was enhanced by several lectures on diverse marketing themes. Towards midday there was even a prominent and attention-grabbing appearance by Prince Charles, who passed by the entrance of the Hofburg Palace on his way to the OSCE Conference that was staged next door.

With an attendance of 1,869 trade visitors, the marke|ding| Vienna once again registered a very good result. The number of visitors was down on the record attendance of 2016 (2,221 trade visitors) – but this was no doubt due to the fact that one less sponsoring agency was on board this time. Nevertheless, the organisers, sponsors and exhibitors were satisfied with the amount of visitors and especially with the quality of the discussions and enquiries. The next marke|ding| in Vienna is scheduled to take place on April 19, 2018. Previous to this the marke|ding| Switzerland will be opening its doors for the third time at the Lucerne Exhibition Centre on May 16-17, 2017.
