RUS – After running for three days, the 31st edition of the IPSA came to an end on March 16, 2017 at the Crocus Expo in the Russian capital, Moscow. According to the official figures, 3,689 visitors (2016: 3,749) attended Russia’s largest promotional products trade fair, which is organised by Reed Exhibitions and supported by the PSI. 39% of the visitors were industry customers (9% of whom were from the retail market), 41% promotional products and event agencies, promotional products distributors and manufacturers. 88.5% of the guests came from Moscow and the Moscow region.
90 companies (2016: 100) from seven nations, including 31 new exhibitors, covered the spectrum of haptic advertising at the event that takes place twice a year, presenting classics and novelties from their line-ups, including creative promotional products solutions, innovative packaging concepts, corporate wear and new technological developments on 3,000 m² of exhibition space. A further focus lay on ecological products, fan and merchandising items for the 2018 Football World Cup and modern printing machines.
As in the previous years, the IPSA was accompanied by an extensive lecture and conference programme, inter alia on the effectivity of promotional products, online marketing and on tax-effective business planning. In addition, the visitors of this year’s spring edition once again elected the best promotional products from among the novelties presented in the scope of the “IPSA CHO!CE” competition. The award-winning products included a craft-it-yourself snow globe, catering spoons, an eco-friendly pencil made out of recycled paper and a practical travel audio adapter.
The autumn edition of the IPSA is scheduled to take place September 5-7, 2017 at the Crocus Expo in Moscow.
