UK – The BPMA (British Promotional Merchandise Association) and the British industry service provider Sourcing City are launching a new joint event, called the Merchandise World. The two-day fair will be staged on September 19 and 20, 2017 at the Exhibition and Congress Centre NAEC Stoneleigh in Warwickshire and is the follow-on event from the BPMA Show, which was staged once on September 14, 2016 for members of the BPMA and the Sourcing City Marketplace, which was last held on September 21 and 22, 2016.
The Merchandise World is divided up into two core areas: In addition to product presentations by promotional products suppliers – the organisers are expecting around 200 exhibitors – selected promotional products distributors have the opportunity to seek detailed advice from the participating suppliers in the so-called Conversation Areas after previously arranging an appointment. In the scope of these discussion sessions, the event concept of the Sourcing City Marketplace is being continued. Furthermore, on the evening of the first day of the event, the BPMA Annual Awards Dinner will be held. In addition to this, it is currently being considered as to whether to give the promotional products trade the opportunity to bring their customers with them on one of the two days of the event. This was already the case at this year’s BPMA Show.
