I – The 28th edition of the Viscom Italia had recorded an increase in both the number of exhibitors and visitors when it came to a close after three days on October 15, 2016. According to the official figures, more than 400 exhibitors presented their products and services at the trade show for visual communications (2015: around 350), including 20% more new exhibitors and a 17% increase in the number of international companies compared to the previous year. With an attendance of 18,409 trade visitors, the organisers recorded a growth of approx. 11% in the number of visitors compared to 2015 (16,500).
The trade show organised by Reed Exhibitions Italy occupied two halls at the Fiera Milano, whereby the exhibition space had increased by 15% compared to the previous year. Trends and novelties from the customising area were presented in the various exhibition areas – from digital, screen and pad printing, to engraving and laser techniques, through to embroidery. Further segments included event services, P.O.P., signmaking as well as labelling and packaging. The suppliers of haptic advertising were among others represented in the Promotional Textiles section.
As usual, the Viscom Italia was accompanied by a lecture programme, the “Viscom Talks”. According to official accounts, more than 1,400 visitors took part in the eight seminars.
Furthermore, the Display Italia Viscom Awards – DIVA – were conferred for outstanding display solutions during the trade fair.
The next Viscom Italia is scheduled to take place from October 12-14, October 2017 at the Fiera Milano.
