D – 1,013 exhibitors, more than 570 speakers and an attendance record of 50,700 visitors (+18%) – that was the impressive result of the dmexco 2016. Brand and decision-makers from the digital industry met up in five halls of Koelnmesse on September 14 and 15 under the motto “Digital is everything – not every thing is digital“, to transform the most important digital trends into real business. And these trends were definitely haptic: Current themes are for instance augmented reality – here virtual reality goggles play an important role – connected home or wearables.

The 15 stages of the dmexco Conference were attended by over 17,500 guests over the two days. In two new formats – the Experience Hall and the Motion Hall – industry experts gave insights into the current developments and marketing possibilities of a novel customer experience surrounded by forward-looking technologies as well as in the ever-increasingly important digital video section.
