NL – This year’s PromZ Event was staged from March 23-24, 2016 at the Jaarbeurs Exhibition Centre in Utrecht, the Netherlands. Marketing professionals from the industry were invited to inform themselves about the entire spectrum of haptic advertising. A novelty this year: An own segment, where direct marketers were able to present their offers

According to the official figures, 4,901 visitors attended the event – 60 less than last year, which was a good result in the light of the terror attacks that occurred in Brussels the day before. In total, 198 exhibitors were present – manufacturers, importers and distributors flew their flags. The entrance area had been uniquely designed in a striking manner and with great attention to detail. An exhibition showcasing examples of haptic advertising was also on display in the lobby area. The visitors were able to choose their respective favourites in five categories and vote for them to become PromZ Promotional Product of the Year 2016.

The event was rounded off by a congress that was attended by 270 people, a result that the Wormer-based organisers Het Portaal Uitgevers considered very successful.
