I – The pte – Promotion Trade Exhibition – was staged at the Fiera Milano City in Milan from January 20-22, 2016. It was already the 16th edition that exclusively addresses promotional products distributors as visitors. Once again this year, the Italian association, acp, sponsored the pte, which was organised by the Milan-based publishing company, O.P.S.

“We had to relocate to Hall 3 – a bigger hall – this year, because the number of exhibitors had increased by around 20% up to 146 exhibitors compared to last year,” stated the CEO of O.P.S., Pier Paolo Ponchia. “Many famous exhibitors returned to the fair and also Assoprom’s Promoroadshow 2016 is integrated into our show.“ Last year, the event of the Italian association, Assoprom, was held parallel in a hotel close to the exhibition grounds.

The official attendance figures were not available at the time of going to press, but according to the exhibitors’ estimates the show may have set a record attendance. The entire spectrum of haptic advertising, all common customising technologies and a stimulating lecture programme were offered. The exhibitors predominantly came from Italy, but some internationally-operating full-range stockists and specialists also put in an appearance.
