RO – On May 14, Xindao inaugurated the new Logistics and Printing Plant of its subsidiary Printmasters in the Romanian city of Cicarlau, near to Baia Mare. The festive opening was attended by prominent guests, namely Romania’s Prime Minister, Victor Ponta, who was accompanied by a large delegation that was greeted by Printmasters’ General Manager Jacques de Boer. Ponta praised the investment of the Dutch company in Baia Mare and underlined the positive influence of the project on North West Romania, where up to 500 jobs will be created in the near future thanks to the new complex.
The new plant covers a surface area of 6.8 hectares and was completed in February 2014. According to Xindao the overall investment sum totals over 8 mil. Euros. Rabelink Logistics SRL, a Romanian subsidiary of the Dutch logistics service provider, Rabelink Logistics, is responsible for running the warehouse that spans 10,000 m² and offers room for 18,000 palette storage spaces. Xindao wants to use the new capacities for the majority of its European warehouse stocks and intends to deliver goods to its customers all around the world from Romania.
