D – The 65th edition of the iENA – International Ideas, Inventions & Novelties Trade Fair was staged at the Nuremberg Exhibition Centre from October 31 – November 3, 2013. Even after so many years, one certainly couldn’t claim that the event was boring or stale. On the contrary: The pool of young aspiring inventors seems to be endless. That was definitely the first impression one gained at the show, at which a range of novelties created by young inventors was also presented.
According to the official figures released by the show’s organisers, AFAG Messen & Ausstellungen GmbH, around 700 inventions were showcased at the event, which was also accompanied by a wide-ranging programme of lectures, consulting and discussions rounds. Exhibitors from 32 countries took part in the event, including 17 country collectives.
The iENA cooperated with the PSI (Promotional Product Service Institute) for the third time in a row this year. Next year the iENA inventors will be presented to the promotional products market at the PSI Show 2014 (January 8-10).
