F – The BIC Group has published its full results for 2012. According to official sources, net sales reached 1,898.7 mil. Euros, compared to 1,824.1 mil. Euros in 2011, which is an increase of 4.1%.

The Consumer business increased by 5.3% on a comparative basis in 2012. Developed markets showed a good performance with sales up 3.0% in Europe, despite the challenging environment in Southern Europe, and +7.8% in North America.

The Advertising and Promotional Products (APP) business sales decreased by 9.2%. In the US, the market experienced mid-single digit growth (driven by the apparel segment). Europe remained under pressure due to the significant contraction of markets in Southern Europe.
