UK – After setting records in 2011, this year’s edition of the Trade Only National Show was its most successful event of all time: According to the official figures 333 promotional products suppliers exhibited at the trade fair organised by the British industry service provider Trade Only, which opened its doors in the Ricoh Arena in Coventry on January 25 and 26, 2012. Growth compared to 2011 (278), that made it necessary to occupy a second hall for the first time ever.

The event also experienced growth on the visitor side: The official result registered 3,835 visitors, which means the show once again set a new benchmark after already achieving a record result last year (2,435). In addition to companies from the British market a growing fraction of suppliers from the Continent were also represented in Coventry – either represented by British subsidiaries or with own stands.

As in the previous years, the British industry association, BPMA (British Promotional Merchandise Association) supported the Trade Only National Show. On the first night of the event, the association organised its Annual Awards Dinner at the E.on Lounge at the Ricoh Arena inCoventry. This year’s winners of the BPMA Awards are:

Supplier of the year: Senator Pens

Distributors of the year: Allwag Promotions, Merchandise Mania, Brand Addition

Campaign of the year: 2BSourced

Personality of the year: Godfrey O’Donnell (Keramikos)
