F – The French promotional products and promotion wear industry met up for the Premium Sourcing at the Carrousel du Louvre in Paris on September 7 and 8, 2022. As usual, the 12th edition of the trade show brought leading market suppliers together with the promotional products trade to herald in the last quarter of the year.

According to official accounts, with an attendance figure of 1,915 visitors over the two days, the organising industry service provider, 656 Éditions, registered a 9.2% increase in the number of guests compared to the previous year. According to 656 Éditions, the 124 exhibitors, who presented their new end-of-year collections praised both the increased attendance figure and the quality of the discussions.

“At the end of Premium Sourcing 2022, we were pleased to see the actors of the promotional gifts and garments ecosystem united and focused on the common objectives of an efficient and responsible supply chain to deliver services, gifts and textiles with an increased added value,” summed up Antony Villéger, President of the French industry association, 2fpco (Fédération Française des Professionnels de la Communication par l’Objet). “This edition was a real success and it was a true pleasure talking to the many visitors and seeing the quick recovery of our market, thanks to its excellent resilience.“

A conference programme organised by European Sourcing, 2fpco and the magazine C!mag was held during the trade show. Here, among other things topics like training opportunities within the industry, sustainability, “made in France” and digital marketing trends were on the agenda. The visitors were able to experience various printing techniques live, have products customised on-site or personalise items themselves in the Print Live zone, which was organised by the printing specialist, Must Technologie.

Parallel to the event, 656 Éditions published a catalogue containing novelties and bestsellers for the year-end business including many items produced in an eco-friendly manner such as rucksacks made from recycled plastic, reusable badges or regionally produced bottles. Last, but not least the themes sustainability and corporate social responsibility also played a role in the organisation of the trade fair. Among others, the organisers gave local service providers preference to reduce the transport routes and optimised the waste separation procedures.

The next edition of Premium Sourcing is scheduled to take place on September 6 and 7, 2023 at the Carrousel du Louvre in Paris.
