D – Since reeko was incorporated into the Carstensen Import-Export Handelsgesellschaft mbH in August 2015 in the course of a succession plan, many changes have been implemented: The integration of the company that was founded in 2003 by Reenald Koch was accompanied by a reorganisation, which included among others a clearly structured profile, a differentiated product range and an expanded spectrum of services. The new face of reeko design is reflected by the new corporate motto “Smart – Different – Affordable“. Here, “Smart” stands for intelligent, innovative promotional products with high practical value, “Different” for the special and unique nature of the products and “Affordable” for the unbeatable good value for money of the offers – from the catalogue assortment through to the special designs. The new sales team of Marco Reimann, Head of Division for reeko design at Carstensen, is responsible for implementing the concept.
As an importer of high-quality promotional products and special designs, reeko design’s priorities lies on quality and safety: “Our products enjoy volume-optimised conditions, are subjected to several quality controls according to European testing standards and fulfil social compliance guidelines,” explained Thorsten Köhler, who together with Martin Pancke is CEO at Carstensen and the business division, reeko design. “Backed up by our long-term expertise in quality and compliance, for our partners from the promotional products trade this means above all unconditional reliability. Each item that leaves our premises is checked in detail, certified according to the legal norms and guidelines and labelled accordingly. For example, we are a member of the BSCI and FSC and closely work together with renowned testing institutes. We additionally check the products again in the course of our in-house quality management system and audit our suppliers as well as their factories.“
