GWW Newsweek 2017: Off to the summit!

D – This year’s GWW Newsweek was on a high: Both in terms of exhibitors and visitors the established roadshow attained record results and the event was a point of contact for everyone, who has set their sights high regarding their advertising measures. With a total attendance of 4,214 visitors, the trade fair once again experienced growth in comparison to the previous year (2016: 4,074).

The location in Dresden, which celebrated its premiere this year, went down very well.

The roadshow that is organised by the German Promotional Products Association GWW has set itself the goal of pointing out the advantages of haptic advertising to industry customers in cooperation with promotional products consultants and suppliers and to support them in planning their campaigns. The 15th edition of the Newsweek was staged under the motto “Peak performers” – based on the leading position of the promotional product regarding acceptance, popularity and advertising impact in direct comparison to other advertising measures. The visitors of the promotional products trade show had the opportunity, accompanied by professional “mountain guides”, to scale the heights of haptic advertising at eight locations all over Germany from May 8 to 18 and let themselves be inspired by the 86 exhibition supplier partners.

Established concept: All participants of the value chain – from the supplier, to the consultant, through to the end customer – meet up at the Newsweek.

A concept that once again proved very successful and which experienced growth in attendance at most of the locations. “The Newsweek has developed positively over the years and is establishing itself more and more among all of the market participants right through to the decision-makers. We will continue to contribute towards pushing the event with conceptual further developments. A growth in both the participating distributor agencies as well as in the number of exhibitors and visitors demonstrates that the Newsweek is very popular. We are constantly in dialogue with all of the participants and try to accommodate the requirements of all parties involved,” summed up GWW Executive Director, Ralf Samuel.
