D – This year Karlowsky Fashion, Wanzleben-Börde, is celebrating its 125th anniversary. The traditional company has stood for high-quality branded clothing in the catering and hotel business, a high-quality standard, courage towards innovation and safety for people and the environment for generations. The foundation for the success story was laid in 1892 by August Karlowsky, who started off trading with selected haberdashery items in Magdeburg. The decisive step forward came in the second generation under the directorship of Hermann Karlowsky, when the former specialised retail shop developed into a wholesaler with several subsidiaries, whose goods were produced in the company’s own factories.

From the early days through to the present day: Karlowsky in the past and today.

Looking optimistically ahead to the future: Thomas (r) and Niels Karlowsky.

Since 1990, Thomas Karlowsky has been continuing on the legacy of his ancestors and has expanded the original product range – comprising of rubber aprons, icing bags and waiters brushes – to include a multitude of further products. The company is especially proud of its long-standing friendship and cooperation with the TV chef, Stefan Marquard, who is at the same time the face and the source of inspiration of the Rock Chef® collection.
