D – Two days, five sponsors, 4,000 m² of exhibition space, just over 100 exhibitors, four lectures, numerous product innovations and plenty of expert knowledge – that is the key data of the werbemittelmesse münchen (wmm), which was held on January 25-26, 2017 as usual at the M,O,C in Munich. Five agencies from the Munich region jointly invited their customers to the event organised by Promo Event (Eichenau). The exhibitors highly praise Active Promotion (Erlangen), admixx (Ottobrunn), CD Werbemittel (Germering), Eidex (Baierbrunn) and the Hagemann Group (Eichenau) for pulling together every year. But the visitors also enjoy the advantages of the collaboration: For example, a lecture programme with first-class expert speakers is put together every year. In 2017, live demonstrations of various production and customising techniques – from laser engraving to 3D printing, through to the production of footballs – were among the highlights of the trade fair. According to the official figures, almost 1,300 marketing decision-makers and industry buyers took advantage of the opportunity to inform themselves in detail about the trends and novelties of the haptic advertising sector – an 8% increase compared to the previous year.
Furthermore, an exhibitor evening was organised for the suppliers and employees of the sponsoring companies on the evening of the first day of the show, which offered exquisite catering.
