D/L – The Würth Group has sold the German-based division, Würth Inter Werbung to Palero. According to own accounts, the private equity fund purchases companies in order to generate a significant gain in value by carrying out operational improvements.
Würth Inter Werbung is a full-service provider of promotional products, the scope of services of which spans from the procurement, to the logistics, through to the implementation of turnkey promotional products and premium shops. With a product portfolio of 60,000 sales items, according to Palero, the company achieves a turnover of approx. 15 mil. Euros. After a short transition period, the name of the company is to be changed to Inter Werbung.
With a turnover of 11 bil. Euros in 2015, the Würth Group comprises of 400 companies worldwide and currently employs over 70,000 employees in over 80 countries.
