NL – The Jaarbeurs in Utrecht was once again the meeting point for visitors from the Dutch promotional products trade on September 7-8, 2016: According to official accounts, 129 promotional products suppliers exhibited at the Leveranciersdagen. As usual, the event organised by the Dutch publishing company Het Portaal Uitgevers (among others publisher of the magazine PromZ and organiser of the promotional products show with the same name) in cooperation with the Dutch industry association PPP (Platform Promotional Products) offered the visitors the opportunity to establish contacts and examine product novelties in time for the Christmas business. The organisers had as usual organised the trade fair with great attention to detail. In addition to the who’s who of the Dutch supplier scene, following tradition, numerous international exhibitors also presented their products and services at the surrounding stands.
In spite of the hot summer temperatures outdoors, according to the organisers, 927 visitors from the promotional products trade attended this year’s edition of the show (2015: 1,006). The Leveranciersdagen were once again accompanied by a lecture programme – among others on the themes distribution structures, sales strategies and compliance – as well as by the Night of the PromZ on the evening of the first exhibition day. In the scope of a festive dinner attended by around 400 international guests, the PromZ magazine conferred awards to the “Leverancier van het Jaar“ (Compacon), “Best Online Performance“ (Pinkcube) and “Supplier of the Year“ (Araco and Lensen Toppoint).
