D – This year’s edition of Tendence was staged in Frankfurt from August 27-30, 2016. According to the official figures, over 24,000 buyers (2015: 27,466) took advantage of the platform comprising of 955 exhibitors (2015: 1.100) to place orders, inspect novelties, gain inspiration and network. In spite of the continued decline in attendance – this year around 12% – the conclusion of the organisers as well as of many exhibitors was still positive. From 2017 onwards, the Tendence is intending to focus more strongly on collections for the spring and the summer of the following year, in order to turn the event back into a real platform for novelties. In this connection, the show will also take place earlier, i.e. from June 24-27, 2017. The product portfolio of the Tendence comprises of the areas Living, Interior Design, Decorating, Gift Items, Jewellery, Fashion Supplies, Home Textiles and Outdoor Items.
