F – This year the French textile specialist, Sol’s, is celebrating its 25th anniversary. The family business founded in 1991 by Alain Milgrom employs around 100 people today and with 25 mil. parts in stock and customers in 60 countries is one of the largest suppliers of promotional textiles on the European market. The company’s line-up comprises of over 360 customisable textiles – in addition to product lines for men, ladies and children, the company also produces sport and workwear collections, caps, bags, accessories, hand and bath towels. Thanks to own subsidiaries and the cooperation with local trading partners, the products of the French company, which are produced by fixed partners in the Far East, are available in 60 countries worldwide.
Sol’s has particularly made a name for itself on the European promotional textile market with high quality, but also because of its ethical production standards: Under the slogan “The Fair Spirit”, all production steps are monitored in cooperation with SGS, a leading inspection, control, testing and certification company worldwide. Furthermore, Sol’s ensures the strict observance of the Geneva Declaration on Children’s’ Rights, complies with all applicable requirements of Oeko-Tex, Reach and the quality management standard ISO 9001, implements recyclable packaging and avoids the use of harmful substances when dyeing the textiles. Furthermore, the textile specialist asserts itself for free and fair trade, which is documented among others by the OCS certification. Moreover, Sol’s has been a member of the Fair Wear Foundation since 2014.
