S – According to the official figures, 146 haptic advertising companies exhibited at the winter edition of the Promotion Mässan from January 19-21, 2016. The event organised by Easyfairs, which is staged in cooperation with the Swedish industry associations SBPR (Svensk Branschförening Profil- och Reklamartiklar) and PWA (Promotional Wholesalers Association), was held at the Kistamässan Exhibition Center in Stockholm.
The exhibitors presented their portfolios at partly individual stands, some of which had been elaborately decorated with great attention to detail. As is always the case at Scandinavian shows, the textile suppliers dominated the scene, followed by exhibitors presenting typically Nordic designer items and interior design ideas.
According to the official figures, the show attracted 2,289 visitors, which was a slight decline compared to last January’s edition (2,568), however compared to last August’s edition (2,186) the number of visitors had increased again. The visitors – the show is only open to promotional products distributors – obviously appreciated the items exhibited, however the stands and the aisles weren’t over-crowded. All of the participants appeared to be satisfied.
