A – The third edition of the marke|ding| plus took place at the Wels Exhibition Centre on September 9 and 10, 2015. In line with this year’s motto “Experience the advertising universe”, the initiator Martin Zettl and the organisers, the Wels Exhibition Centre, had further expanded the interdisciplinary concept of the B2B platform: More than 180 exhibitors (2014: 170) presented their products and services in the three exhibition zones Promotion (haptic advertising), Event (event technology, event and artist’s agencies, catering companies, etc.) and Communication (E-business, advertising and communication agencies, ambient media, etc.).
New key themes included printing, customising & packaging as well as sport & merchandising featuring the point of sports, where podium discussions with the participation of famous sports officials were held. Also new: The campaign zones, point of haptic (best practice examples), point of performance (show acts) and point of style (fashion shows demonstrating the trends of the promotional textile industry).
According to the official figures, 2,631 trade visitors (2014: 2,781) from all over Austria, Germany and neighbouring countries set off on a journey through the advertising universe. Around 500 guests attended the marke|ding| plus night on the evening of the first show day. Highlight: the award ceremony of the marke|ding| award 2015.
The next marke|ding| plus is scheduled to take place at the Wels Exhibition Centre on September 21 and 22, 2016. A detailed report will be published in eppi magazine, No. 107 (October 7, 2015).
