UK – On May 21, 2015 the British promotional products distributor, Outstanding Branding, held an in-house show at the Tower of London for the second time. Over 30 promotional products suppliers presented their current product range and jointly developed ideas for marketing campaigns together with the visitors. Workshops on the theme of customising, prize-draws, a goodie bag worth over 150 British Pounds (around 210 Euros) as well as a comprehensive lecture programme rounded off the event. Gordon Glenister, Director General of the British industry association, BPMA, spoke on the theme “21 Ideas to Promote your Business“. The lecture by Claire Harper, former Marketing Director at the British baby outfitters, Mamas & Papas, was entitled “Surprising and Delighting your Customer by Delivering the Extraordinary“ and Rafe Offer, former Global Marketing Director at Coca-Cola and Walt Disney, talked about the current marketing trends.
According to the official figures, over 150 industry customers visited the product show that is held every two years, which corresponds to a 20% increase compared to 2013.
