Joytex celebrates its 30th anniversary

D – In July 2015, the bag specialist Joytex will celebrate its 30th anniversary. The family business supplies the promotional products trade across Europe with high-quality promotional bags of the lower price segment. When the company was founded in July 1985 by Hans-Jürgen Nienhaus – at the time the firm still traded under the name Nienhaus Textilwerbung – the company’s focus initially lay on importing textiles. As well as bags, the line-up also included T-shirts, leisurewear, aprons, caps, terry cloth items and tea towels. After the company started specialising in import and printing reusable carrying bags from the Far East in the year 2005, the company was renamed Joytex GmbH and Co. KG. Since then it has been necessary to expand the company building several times: The offices were expanded in 2006 and in 2011. The warehouse was extended to cover around 1,100 m² so that there is room for 1,200 palette storage places and the printing shop was expanded in 2008. The current product catalogue encompasses approx. 40 bag models – including the different choice of colours, this means a selection of around 200 bags is available.

Katja Übbing-Mölders, the daughter of the company founder Hans-Jürgen Nienhaus, has been a managing shareholder at Joytex since 2006. The Sales Director Joep Raanhuis has been contributing his know-how in the fields of sales, marketing and product design since 2005. The Dutchman serves his customers in five languages: German, Dutch, English, French and Italian.
