UK – On March 25, 2015, the British Promotional Merchandise Association (BPMA) held a dinner for its Patrons in London. The Patrons gathered at the House of Commons for drinks followed by a meal hosted by Brian Binley MP, who currently represents the BPMA in the British Parliament. Binley, who is standing down at the end of this parliamentary session was presented with a recreation of the Palace of Westminster by BPMA Director General Gordon Glenister in recognition of his services to the industry during his time at Westminster. Also present at the dinner was Mark Pritchard MP, who will be representing the BPMA from the start of the next parliament. Following the meal, Binley chaired a lively debate with discussions including the new BPMA members show, the current state of the industry and future threats and opportunities.
