UK – The British Promotional Merchandise Association (BPMA) is going to launch a new trade show in September 2016. According to the association, the new product-focused, members-only event will be held in the Midlands, catering for members across the whole of the UK, and will coincide with the PR event series Promotional Products Week which is also organised by the BPMA. The association said it chose September as a key month to allow suppliers to show mid-season product updates, and to present pre-Christmas ranges.
“Any revenue generated from the show will be reinvested back into the industry, through education and raising awareness of our members to end user buyers”, BPMA Director General Gordon Glenister said. The BPMA Education Day will continue to be held the day preceding the Trade Only National Show in January 2016, however the BPMA Annual Awards will move to the new event in September next year. “Our relationship with Trade Only remains strong” reaffirms BPMA Chairman Matt Franks, “they have built a fantastic show in January and we will continue to support this, on a nonexclusive basis”.
The BPMA said it will announce new developments over the coming months.
