B – The majority of the Belgian promotional products distributors are looking optimistically ahead to the future. This is the outcome of a survey that the Belgian industry magazine, Promobiss, carried out in conjunction with the market research company, OneQuestion. According to the official accounts, around 70 promotional products distributors and 220 users from all over Belgium took part in the survey.
According to the survey, the interviewed distributors achieved on average an 8.8% increase in turnover in 2014 and they are reckoning with a 9.6% increase for 2015. Furthermore, two thirds of the respondents stated that they presently have more customers than a year ago.
The situation on the user scene in Belgium is on the other hand rather more cautious: According to the survey, the budgets for promotional products sank by around 6% in 2014 compared to the previous year. However, if the statements of the industry customers interviewed are anything to go by, the budgets are expected to be slightly higher in 2015 again.
