D/PL – The German company Berendsohn AG has purchased Lynka, the international specialists for promotional and corporate clothing based in Poland. The aim behind this first take-over since Berendsohn was founded in 1833 is according to own statements to strengthen the company’s position on the promotional products market. “Their competence in the textiles area, their diverse range, but also their worldwide contacts to textile manufacturers, is what makes Lynka a fantastic partner for our further expansion,” commented Jörn Lambertz, CEO of Berendsohn AG.

Lynka will continue to operate as an independent company on the international market and John Lynch, who founded the company together with Anne Kalin in 1992, will continue to run it. Berendsohn took over the shareholder stakes in Lynka on 12 August 2014 from the former financial investors Hanseatic Finance and Arjörnco Capital.
