A – The marke [ding] took place on May 15, 2014 at the Hofburg in Vienna, albeit in a slightly different format: Austria’s biggest promotional products show was also the platform for the exhibitors of the BWL Newsweek. Last year the Roadshow organised by the BWL (German Association of Promotional Products Suppliers) also stopped off in Vienna three weeks before the marke[ding] however – which was rather unsatisfactory for all parties involved.
Eight Austrian distributor partners participated in this year’s event and presented their products in the lobby of the Hofburg. The number of exhibitors also increased by 25 up to 127 suppliers, growth which indeed enriched the event. Especially since not only the suppliers of promotional products exhibited, but also specialists from related marketing disciplines such as from the event, dialogue, incentive or advertising technology sectors. The visual appearance of the show was particularly appealing this year: Many of the exhibitors were represented at elaborate stands or offered small campaigns, original give-aways and walking acts.
1,478 trade visitors travelled to the Hofburg in spite of the stormy winter weather. Thus, the trade fair set a new attendance record. The next edition of marke[ding] at the Hofburg in Vienna is scheduled on April 29, 2015. Before that however, namely on October 1 and 2, 2014, the marke[ding] plus will be staged at the Wels Exhibition Centre.
