USA – In the scope of this year’s Promotional Products Work!™ Week (April 21-25), the US American industry association PPAI (Promotional Products Association International) presented the initial results of a survey that questioned 400 advertising agencies and promotional products industry buyers about their perception of the promotional product. 96% of the respondents had purchased promotional products in the last twelve months, 74% consider promotional products to be effective or very effective advertising media and attribute promotional products a prominent role in the marketing mix. A further outcome of the survey underlines the importance of professional consulting – namely eight out of ten of the advertising agencies and promotional products buyers purchase their products from promotional products distributors. Questioned as to which promotional products category is the most effective, the respondents placed textiles at the top of the list.
The PPAI will be publishing all of the results of the survey in the June edition of PPB (Promotional Products Business), which is out on May 29.
