I – The Italian promotional products association, Assoprom, has elected a new board for the coming two years. Mattia Riccò (World Promotions) was reelected as President, Vico Innocenti (IDT Sas) was named Vice President. Paolo Cattaneo (2Pierre) was appointed as the Treasurer and Graziano Grillo (Embroidery Service) was elected to the position of Director of Development.
Manuel Vaccarini (Alma Viva), Orlando Trento (Silicon) and Fabrizio Selis (Market ScreenTypographic) were also appointed as members of the board. The board is additionally supported by three regional representatives: Mauro Chech (Responsor/North), Silvano Ripà (RIPA Advertising/Central Region) Michele Caruso (Promotre/South and Islands). Furthermore, Assoprom also has a Board of Arbitration, which comprises of Joseph Barki (Sipec), Marco Baldo (Baldo) and Frederico Vitolo (NBL Vitolo).
The association has set among others supporting the export activities of its member companies as one of its top priorities for the next two years. Furthermore, Assoprom is planning campaigns for the Expo 2015 in Milan. The new promotional products trade fair, which is due to be staged in Parma in January 2015 is also at the top of the priority list, which will be jointly organised by Assoprom and the Parma Exhibition Centre.
