D – Looking, touching, testing, listening, exchanging ideas – the concept of the HAPTICA® live, which is being staged on March 26, 2014 at the Palladium in Cologne, appeals to the desire to explore. The visitors of the “Experience of Haptic Advertising” can look forward to a comprehensive and diverse range of products, examples of application, stimuli and ideas. The event, which celebrated its premiere in 2013, is currently on expansion course: In Halls 1 and 2 of the Palladium 78 exhibitors (2013: 42), including specialists and all-rounders, who are at home in the promotion business, as well as numerous renowned brand name companies will be presenting their products. Branded marzipan or shimmering soap bubbles, windproof lighters or Swiss Army knives, love tree seeds or love stories – the entire spectrum of products that can be implemented for the corporate communications – are all on board.

Practical examples en masse

In addition to the wide selection of novelties, trend items and classics showcased by the exhibitors, the HAPTICA® live ‘14 will above all give the visitors an insight into the practical side of the business and show many examples of how creatively and effectively haptic promotional products can be implemented for a wide range of marketing tasks and requirements: The Best Practice special exhibition in Hall 2 has been further expanded in comparison to 2013 and will present even more case studies of particularly successful haptic advertising campaigns. A car bonnet calendar, a melting board game, a financial report that can only be read when the sun is shining, as well as a “Tunalele” are some of the most unusual exhibits on display.

The lecture programme with speakers from the marketing sector, which will be taking place on the stage in Hall 1, places the focus on the implementation of haptic advertising for corporate and brand communication purposes (the conference language is German, the themes and speakers are listed at www.haptica-live.de).

Distinguished ideas

Furthermore, the prize-giving ceremony of the Promotional Gift Award 2014 will also be held at the HAPTICA® live ’14. From 4.30 p.m. onwards, all of the winners will be invited up onto the stage in Hall 1 to receive their trophies in the scope of an award ceremony. The visitors will also be able to gain inspiration for their own haptic advertising projects: All of the award-winning products will namely be showcased the whole day long at the HAPTICA® live ’14 in a special exhibition in Hall 2.

At the get-together, which is scheduled to take place once the exhibition and lecture programmes are over (7 to 9 p.m.), the exhibitors and visitors will have the opportunity to bring the day to a pleasant close while enjoying drinks and finger food.
