D – At the beginning of 2013, the EPPA (European Promotional Product Association) presented a code of conduct for the promotional products industry. The aim of the programme is to promote corporate responsibility (CSR) with regards to supply chains, fair and safe working conditions and product safety. Three certifications (bronze, silver and gold) make it possible for companies to strive to attain continual improvement.

A host of European promotional products companies – including distributors and suppliers – took part in the first certification process last year, which was at the same time tested and further optimised. Amid high public interest, the EPPA awarded ten companies the gold or silver status during an award ceremony at the PSI Show on January 9, 2014:

Van Bavel Gifts & Premiums (B) – Gold

Brand Addition (GB/D) – Gold

Brandwijk Kerstpakketten/Promo.nl (NL) – Silver

Consuma-IssueTissue (NL) – Silver

Giving Europe (NL) – Gold

Interimage (NL) – Gold

Intraco Trading (NL) – Gold

Langhoff Promotion (DK) – Gold

Metz (DK) – Gold

PF Concept (NL) – Gold

Xindao (NL) – Gold
