D – Wolfgang Amann, well-known to many from the industry as the founder of the German company, Protrade Europe, and in the meantime self-employed as a consultant for companies from the promotional products market, is supporting the victims of the Haiyan typhoon on the Philippines. In an initial step, Amann is currently collecting donations that will be used to buy medicine, bandages and other relief supplies, which he will subsequently personally deliver to the Philippines. The journey is being jointly organised by Philger e.V. (Phillipines Germany), an aid society that has collected 18 tonnes of relief supplies that are to be distributed to different places in February. The society has been supporting people on the Philippines for over 25 years, among others setting up orphanages.

With his experience in disaster relief and as a trained paramedic, Wolfgang Amann will visit these institutions and examine the children, treating their possible diseases and injuries. He will also set up simple first aid centres and instruct the local people so that the children can receive emergency treatment.

A donations account has been installed to support the humanitarian mission, 100 percent of the donations will go to the aid of the typhoon victims:
