UK – The donation initiative “Race to print 200,000 cotton bags“, initiated by the British promotional bag manufacturer, Keepme Bags, officially kicked off on January 6, 2014. The company will donate a penny for every long handled natural cotton bag sold, in a bid to raise a total of 2,000 British Pounds (approx. 2,408 Euros) for charity. The promotional bags are offered at sharply reduced prices. Furthermore, the customer, who purchases the most bags, will have the opportunity to decide to which cause the proceeds will be donated. All of the participants will be kept up-to-date on the current status of the “race” by e-mail and on Facebook as soon as the campaign gets underway.
Not only the recipients of the donations, but in fact all of the participants themselves will benefit from the initiative, because as well as being able to assert themselves for a good cause the participating companies have the opportunity to purchase versatile promotional bags for the coming promotional year 2014 at strongly reduced prices. Moreover, Keepme Bags is using the charity campaign as a means of thanking its customers for the success of the past year.
