UK – Accompanied by two of their key customers, two employees of Staples Promotional Products visited the English printing and engraving specialist, Premier Impressions, in Newhaven on November 14, 2013. The aim of the visit was to give the SPP customers an insight into the different customising processes and inform them about the compliance requirements SPP demands from its partner companies. In a subsequent discussion round, themes such as business ethics, work administration as well as health and safety aspects were intensely discussed. A further theme was the code of the organisation Sedex (Supplier Ethical Data Exchange), which asserts itself for the improvement of ethical priniciples in the field of global production. Premier Impressions is also a member of Sedex.
Yiannis Spiliotopoulos, SPP International Account Manager, summed up: “We believe that such visits help develop partnerships with our customers and our suppliers. It is important that our customers understand the whole process and that they are educated to better comprehend what we are actually offering.”
