TK – The 28th edition of the Promotürk took place from September 19-22, 2013 at its usual venue in Istanbul, the CNR Expo. For the third, but initially for the last time, the PSI (Promotional Product Service Institute) under the claim “powered by PSI“ took on the role of licensor of the trade fair, which is organised by the Turkish industry association Promotürk in collaboration with EUF, a Turkish subsidiary of the international exhibition company, the ITE Group. The Promotürk Chairman, Esad Ahmet Özdem explained: “The collaboration with the PSI will not be continued in 2014. Furthermore, next year the event will already take place from April 3-6, 2014 and will be staged at a new venue, which is not far away from its present location.“
According to the official figures, over 80 exhibitors (2012: 150) took part this year, including many suppliers and several agencies. The guests – resellers and users – were offered a representative overview of the promotional products market at both uniform and individually designed stands, whereby the focus lay on textiles and leather goods as well as on calendars and notepads. The official attendance figure was not available at the time of going to press. However, in the run-up to the event the organisers had been expecting up to 13,000 visitors.
