UK – The British industry service provider, Trade Only, organised the APG expo again this year. The roadshow enhances the Trade Only National Show – the biggest British promotional products show – held in February as well as the Spring Shows, by offering suppliers and distributors a contact platform at the start of the autumn season.
102 suppliers took part this year, which was a record according to Trade Only. The opening event took place on September 11, 2013 at Sandown Park Racecourse in Esher, South England. The tour continued on to Manchester United Football Club the next day. Then, the APG expo moved on to the Red Cow Moran Hotel in Dublin on September 18.
According to the official figures, in total approx. 620 distributors took this opportunity to inform themselves about novelties in time for the Christmas business amid a relaxed atmosphere. “Every year the APG expo offers precisely what is desired at this time of the year: Face-to-face contact between the distributors and suppliers,“ commented Nigel Bailey, Event Director at Trade Only. “We had several first-time exhibitors this year, who were impressed by the effectiveness of show. The quality of the visitors was very good too.“
