Promotional Gift Award 2014: The jury has been announced

One man’s joy is another man’s burden: Before the happy winners of the Promotional Gift Award 2014 are able to cheer and raise their trophies in the air on the stage at the HAPTICA® live ’14 on March 26, 2014, which is being held at the Palladium in Cologne, a team comprising of five people will have to master a difficult task. The judges of the international award organised by WA Publishing, D-Cologne have to examine and evaluate around 300 products on December 11 and 12, 2013. Five judges have volunteered to take over this important task this year: Making her debut on the panel of judges is Nana Kreyenberg of VW Zubehör GmbH, a 100 percent subsidiary of Volkswagen AG. She manages Product Management Lifestyle in the Lifestyle & License Management Division, where she is responsible among other things for promotional products. Martin Zettl is also one of the jury members: The Austrian has been working within the industry for almost 20 years and since 2006 has been the organiser of the promotional products trade fair marke [ding], which is staged every year in Wels and Vienna. Eva Spahn from Lufthansa WorldShop is joining the panel for the third time. She has been employed as Product Manager of the Lufthansa subsidiary for the last eleven years and has been responsible for the B2B sector for the past five years, where she is in charge of the procurement of promotional products and product development. Michael Mätzener, CEO of the Swiss promotional products agency, diewerbeartikel gmbh, is a long-standing member of the jury. The Director of the “Agency for Tangible Communication” has been occupying himself with the creative and conceptual integration of the promotional product for many years. Michael Scherer, who has been managing shareholder of WA Publishing since 1998, is also a regular member of the jury panel.

Entries for the Promotional Gift Award 2014 can be submitted via the website www.promotionaward.com until November 15, 2013.
