USA – The US-American textile specialist, American Apparel, based in Los Angeles, has published its operating results for the second quarter of 2013. The company was able to increase its turnover by 9% compared to the same period in the previous year up to 162.2 mil. US Dollars (approx. 124 mil. Euros). The turnover in the company’s own business areas rose by 7%, whereas the wholesale area achieved a 16% increase compared to the previous year.
In June, American Apparel recorded an increase in turnover for the 25th month in a row. A positive development and a good indication that Dov Charney’s firm has recovered again after almost going bankrupt three years ago.
