Commitment for flood victims: Aid from the industry

The Fare team is asserting itself for the flood victims.

D – In the scope of diverse relief and donation campaigns several companies that are active in the promotional products industry are committing themselves for the victims of this year’s flood catastrophe in Germany. For example, the umbrella specialist, Fare, has launched a relief campaign for the victims of the flood catastrophe, which foresees one Euro being donated to the flood victims for every item sold bearing either article number 5050 or 2391 as well as for all Blunt models. Once the campaign that runs until July 31, 2013, comes to an end, the Fare team will select the relief organisation that is going to receive the donations.

The agency lounge5 is also demonstrating its charitable commitment: For every order of their private label water, 5 cents per bottle will be donated to the “Aktion Deutschland Hilft“, a charity organisation which helps the flood victims.

Pelikan and Herlitz are donating school starter packs for first graders. The Burgwedel network, a local relief organisation that has drawn up a list of the most urgently required items through personal contacts to the people effected by the flood regions was the initiator of the wide-scale relief campaign. On June 22, eight lorries set off for the affected areas to distribute among other things the school packs containing the Pelikan and Herlitz products.
