D – HAPTICA® live, the second issue of which is scheduled to take place at the Palladium in Cologne on March 26, 2014, is to become even more practice-oriented: Already at the premiere in March 2013 the novel event concept had strongly focused on case studies and possible fields of application. This aspect is to be further expanded in 2014.
HAPTICA® live considers itself to be a profiling offensive for promotional products: Its aim is to make the possibilities of haptic advertising experienceable for promotional products users and offer the industry a platform where it can demonstrate its competence and creativity to the industry customers. Particularly the best practice special show went down extremely well with the visitors – especially the industry customers: For over a third of the marketing decision-makers and purchasers it was one of the main reasons for visiting the HAPTICA® live ’13. This was the outcome of a visitor survey carried out by the organisers, WA Publishing: Many visitors suggested that this part of HAPTICA® live should be expanded to demonstrate even more examples of the successful implementation of haptic messengers in advertising campaigns.
The lecture programme and the presentation of the Promotional Gift Award in the form of an exhibition of the award-winners and the prize-giving ceremony also make up part of the application-oriented elements of the event. At the premiere both areas were popular and frequently visited by the attendees – once again especially by the industry customers. 80% of the guests from the marketing and purchasing sectors took a close look at the PGA exhibition and visited the lecture programme.
The exhibitors of the HAPTICA® live are also part of the world of experience concept: The relocation of the event from E-Werk to the larger Palladium venue will give the exhibitors new opportunities of presenting their product ranges and services in a practice-oriented manner.
