NL – This year the Leveranciersdagen, an established event that has been staged by the Dutch promotional products association, PPP (Platform Promotional Products) for many years already was organised in cooperation with the Dutch publishing company and exhibition organiser, Het Portaal Uitgevers. As a result the show, which was held at the Jaarbeurs in Utrecht on September 5 and 6, not only enjoyed a higher number of exhibitors, but also occupied more exhibition space and offered a more comprehensive accompanying programme. According to the official reports, 105 suppliers presented their products, not at simple tables as in the past, but at more spacious uniform stands. The exhibitors came from the Netherlands and further European countries, including Belgium, France, Germany and Great Britain. The event, which Het Portaal had organised with great attention to detail as usual, was rounded off by a small, but interesting lecture program.
According to the organisers, 744 trade visitors took the opportunity to inform themselves about trends and novelties in the lead up to the Christmas season. Visiting the Leveranciersdagen – currently the only trade show in the Netherlands that addresses resellers – was free of charge for PPP members; non-members had to pay an admission fee. The organisers and many of the exhibitors were satisfied with the outcome of the event: According to PPP around 70% of the exhibitors have already booked a stand for 2013.
A detailed report will be published in eppi magazine No. 89 (September 26, 2012).
