This year’s edition of the CT|CO (Communiquez Textile & Communiquez Objet) was held in the biggest hall of the Eurexpo in Lyon from February 7-9, 2012. The organisers, the Lyon publishing company, 656 Editions, had as in the previous years paid great attention to detail while organising and planning the trade show. After two solitary Communiquez Textile events, the CT|CO double event was staged for the third time this year – it was even bigger and more professional than in past years and in 2012 it also celebrated a further premiere, namely the introduction of a further exhibition sector: The new zone called nova Live was dedicated to the visual communications sector. Primarily, specialists for large format prints and decoration experts presented their products and services here. Furthermore, the show was also accompanied by a comprehensive workshop and seminar programme. The overall signs indicate that the CT|CO is on course for further expansion. The stands were in some cases even more spectacular than in previous years and the planning of the hall layout was even more generous. Precise attendance figures were not available at the time of going to press, however the organisers already registered a 15-16% increase in visitors on the evening of the first exhibition day. The majority of the exhibitors – who not only included French suppliers, but also diverse international full-range suppliers and specialists – were satisfied with the quantity and the partially high quality of the visitors.
A detailed report will be featured in eppi magazine No. 86 (April 4, 2012).
